MH SET 2023 Exam Pattern

Important Instructions

(a) The candidate must carefully read this information bulletin before submitting the online Application Form.
(b) The Savitribai Phule Pune University, on behalf of the States of Maharashtra & Goa, will hold the 38th M-SET on 26.03.2023 (Sunday) to determine the eligibility of candidates for the Assistant Professor job in the Universities and Colleges of the states of Maharashtra & Goa. The SET is exclusively conducted to determine eligibility, and the State/Nodal Agency is not responsible for providing jobs to SET-qualified candidates. The M-SET will be conducted in 32 subjects and 17 selected city centers across the states.
(c) The eligibility for Assistant Professor will depend on the candidate’s performance in both papers of M-SET. Qualified candidates will be governed by the recruitment rules and regulations of the concerned Universities/Colleges/State Governments.
(d) The result of the M-SET held on 26.03.2023 will be available on http://setexam.unipune.ac.in as and when it is permitted to declare by the competent authorities. Candidates will not be individually intimated about their results.
(e) Scheduled Caste(SC)/Scheduled Tribe(ST)/Other Backward Class (OBC),/DT(A) (VJ),/NT(B)/ NT(C)/, NT(D)/ SBC/(Non-Creamy Layer only) /Orphans/General EWS/PwD are recognized categories by the states of Maharashtra and Goa. Candidates will be given special concessions as decided by the UGC.
(f) The reservation mentioned in the Advertisement will be binding on the candidates. Any changes in the reservation policy by the State Government after the date of Advertisement shall not be applicable for this SET. However, in case of court decisions, it will be binding.
(g) All policies and rules related to subjects, result declaration, and any other matters related to the conduct of the SET will be binding on the candidates.
(h) No requests for corrections in the application form will be entertained by the Nodal Agency after 10/12/2022
