RRB SSE 2023 Nationality Details
To be eligible for the exam, a candidate must be a citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan, or a Tibetan exile who arrived in India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of settling in India permanently. Additionally, individuals of Indian origin who have migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries such as Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of settling in India permanently are also eligible. However, candidates belonging to categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) above must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India. Candidates who require a certificate of eligibility can still take the exam, but their appointment will be subject to the certificate being issued by the Government of India.
